Term 3 Inquiry Presentation

Room 14 completed our inquiry presentation this week. Throughout this term, we have learnt what and how have humans impacted on our environment, How can we do to make a difference to living things to ensure their survival? We have generated questions in pairs or in a group, researching the answers using 2-4 different websites. When researching information, we needed to skim, scan and note take key ideas. Then summarised the key ideas into our own words. We thought about and decided how we presented our findings. We have chosen a range of different ways to present our findings like making slides, Posters and Diorama. Lastly we reflected on our findings. We enjoyed the process of inquiry project and we are proud of outcomes of our hard work.

ARATAKI Trip In T2

R14 and R34 visited Arataki Visitor Centre today and we learned about Kauridieback and the rahui which has been put in place. This programme is called Keep Kauri Standing. The children learned about what makes Kauri special and how we can look after them.
